Message: This is the best place to shop for aquarium supplies, hands down. Doubly true if you live in the NYC area and have ever had to wait a week plus for stuff to arrive from the other vendors, most of which are on the left coast. More importantly though, is the customer support at Saltwater Critters. It's second to none. Sometimes I wonder if they are a real retail operation and not just a figment of my idealistic imagination. If you have a problem, they will solve it, or direct you directly to a manufacturer in such a way that you WILL get satisfaction. SWC does not rest until it's resolved and you're happy. If you're not sure what you're buying or need - they actually give honest, no-nonsense answers meant to be the best for you, not the best for their sales #'s. Where else can you find that? Russ, the majordomo there, is possibly the nicest guy I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Really. He is simply, the man. You should shop here. Now.

Message: I needed a booster pump the same day when I found out last minute that my new apartment had low PSI flow. At 6pm Russ responded to my email within 5 minutes. He had 20 minutes to make the last UPS shipment for the next day and went out of his way to do so. As if that wasnt enough. The next day I found out that my ro-tubing didnt match the booster pump. Russ came through again. He personally went to 2 hardware stores to find the necessary adapters and offered to meet me near my house with the parts. amazing!
