Hurricane Pumps from Deep Blue are designed to help your aquarium residents survive a temporary power loss. Our top of the line Category 5 pump has many unique features:

• Automatically switches to rechargeable battery pack upon power loss.
• Automatic recharge system charges battery pack when power is restored.
• Designed with optional "D" cell battery slots for use when main battery pack is exhausted.
• Adjustable flow control with Interval Battery Extension Technology (I.B.E.T.).
• Features two modes: Hi position - pumps 14 hours on full battery, and Lo position - runs pump for approx. 28 hours intermittently (one minute on, one minute off)
• Removable, 6V Ni-Cad rechargeable battery pack included.
